From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11:12)
When I look at churches today, I'm not happy about the words that come to mind. Lazy, apathetic, quiet, easily-offended, in-active, boring; just to name a few. Every day the enemy is busy. The bible says he 'prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour'. In Job it says he 'roams the earth to and fro'. And what are the Christians doing? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Binging Netflix series and scrolling through social media. What happened to the saints of old that stood on the street corners and proclaimed the Gospel to everyone walking by? Where did the Christians go that used to stand up for what is right and speak up against evil? Maybe the unhealthy diabetic Christians are a result of little men standing in their pulpits week after week proclaiming a sugar coated Gospel. Where did the churches backbone go? Has the fire that was poured out upon the disciples in Acts chapter 2 burnt out? I rarely find Christians that have a burden for souls and an urgency to do kingdom work.
Would the real Christians please stand up
“The enemy is singing a lullaby and rocking the body of Christ to sleep. He's gotten so many of us to sit back, and shut up”
We go into church on Sundays and have AMAZING services. Then we talk about how amazing church was all week and do it over again. All across the world thousands of churches gather weekly and have GREAT church services. But here's the thing. The experience we have in church on Sundays doesn't affect the way we live the rest of the week. The devil doesn't care if we go to church. What truly scares him is when we BECOME the church. I believe there is a remnant of believers that understand the major difference between GOING to church and BEING the church. A shift is taking place in churches all across the world. We will begin to see the churches that TRULY care about IMPACTING their COMMUNITIES rise up.
Let's Fight to reclaim our identity as PASSIONATE. Let's Fight to reclaim our identity as UNITED. Let's Fight to reclaim our identity as being people that LOVE Lavishly. I'm praying for a spirit of Revival and Fire to be poured out greater than anything we've ever seen before. It's time for us to Fight for our faith, fight for our families, and take back what the enemy stole.
The Time is Now
“Christians sit back and watch the enemy destroy their lives”
"Light shines in the darkness and the darkness will not overcome it". The good news is that we're in a fixed fight. I've read the end of the book and the devil loses, badly. So everything we see taking place now is just him being a sore loser throwing a temper tantrum because he knows his time is short. We're not fighting FOR victory, we are fighting FROM victory. So let's throw some gloves on and take turns beating up on him.
